The status of generic structure in expert opinions. Insights from a comparative analysis of American, Russian and Bulgarian documents

This paper attempts to describe expert opinions from a comparative and genre-based perspective. It addresses the central question of whether follow any specific rhetorical organizational patterns extent which these may have been imposed by respective judicial institutions in Russia, Bulgaria USA. After reviewing institutional contexts constraints on experts their opinions, analysis focuses exploring status generic structure three sets documents: US common law Russian Bulgarian civil opinions.
